About this sitter
We are Kitty and Dick.
We are seniors 60+. Dick was most of the time working as a member of staff by the police forces in Amsterdam and Alkmaar. And Kitty spend most of her time as a mother raising 3 children and before that periode she was working by a catering service.
We met 4 years ago each other after loosing our partners. We like to enjoy our lives as much as possible by doing things together, walking, travelling, cooking together, cuddling the cats and going out.
But on the other hand we love to be at home, doing gardening, reading books and listening to music. We love many kinds of music, depending on how we feel us.
We live apart nearby each other, but every day we are together.
Kitty has, next to the 3 cats, tiffany glass as a hobby. Dick's hobby is travelling, reading books, walking. Kitty is 64 years and Dick is 79 years old. We are looking for house sit for small animals like cats, rabbits, chickens or birds. No dogs.
Why they want to house sit
It gives us the opportunity to be in other surroundings and meeting other people and animals in there own local situation and not in busy tourist accommodations.
Their experience
We are not experienced yet, but in September we will homesitting in Switzerland.
We have been a trusted house and pet sitter for friends, kids, and neighbors for many years. We do have house keys to most neighbors' and of course of our kids.
We lived for many years with our own animals and so we see no problem to look after animals somewhere else in there own houses.
What can they bring to the assignment
Kitty's sister, who is house sitting for years with great pleasure, makes us very enthusiastic for doing it by ourselves. That's why we love to do so.
We value the responsibility and respect it takes to care for a home and animals of someone else, that we do find is very important.
