About this sitter
Hi, my name is Grace and my husband, Mark, and I love to travel and explore new places. We recently retired, sold our home, stored our household items, and are living out of our luggage for a few years while we travel the world!
Why they want to house sit
We are both retired and looking for opportunities to stay in various places where we can spend time learning about the area, the people, food, and culture. If we can help someone to be able to have peace of mind when they leave their home/pets for awhile, then that’s wonderful. We all benefit from the experience!
Their experience
We have had to leave our house and pets through the years when traveling, so we understand and appreciate the value of a reliable, honest and safe caretaker. We would like to offer that peace of mind to others who are away from their pet family and home.
What can they bring to the assignment
We bring experience as home owners who have managed the care that is needed when you own a home, including lawn care and pool maintenance. We have had dogs, cats, a parakeet, fish, and a hamster as additions to our family when our 3 children were growing up. We have lived in the USA and the UK, in big cities, in small towns and on rural land, too. Now we are slow traveling the world! So, we bring experience, maturity, knowledge, and the flexibility to fit your needs and schedule.
