Hi, I’m Mike, a retired Civil Engineer, now based in Sacramento. I’m an avid cyclist, hiker, fisherman, museum-goer, reader and I’m planning to spend the next year traveling. I’m looking for house-sitting opportunities and would be happy to care for pets while you're away. I’ve always had dogs and had a cat, so I’m very comfortable around animals and enjoy their company.

Why they want to house sit

As a longtime homeowner, I understand the care and responsibility that comes with maintaining a home. I’m now looking for a change of scenery and new places. Throughout my travels, I’ve mostly stayed in Airbnbs and bed-and-breakfasts, and I always treat each space with the utmost respect. I’m committed to maintaining a clean, secure, and peaceful environment while house-sitting.
