About this sitter

We are super experienced dog parents who have six of our own small dogs, and work with a Texas rescue to foster and place dogs that come to New England on transport.

Why they want to house sit

We love to travel, and we love to have authentic experiences while doing so. We are quiet, super responsible and hard-working older adults who are active hikers and bikers. We hope to find some opportunities to see more of the world while caring for pets (we almost always stay in places where there are pets!). Our big challenge is finding our own pet sitters, but we currently have a couple of people who are amazing and are looking for more.

Their experience

Our lives have been built around our pet family! We've been working with pet rescues as fosters since 1996 when we started fostering greyhounds. We have six small dogs of our own now, but have had Shepherds, Greyhounds and Spaniels in our many happy years as a family with little kids who grew into adults!!

We currently foster with a Texas rescue and have placed 14 dogs in New England homes in the past 18 months. We sometimes have challenging behavior cases, or medical cases. We are calm and loving with all dogs.

What can they bring to the assignment

Responsible adults who love your dogs and will care for them like our own. We will also care for your property like it was our own. We also come with a lot of references if requested!
