About this sitter
Greetings !
I’m a FT artist and Online ESL teacher. I am retired and able to travel on a fixed income. I am a former horse ranch owner who has experience in training horses for western pleasure riding. I am experienced with the care of horses, dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, turtles, birds, hamsters, and gerbils.
I’m looking for some new adventures in travel.
Let me take care of your animals and home while you’re away. It is a mutually beneficial relationship where you know your place is being cared for in your absence and I get to explore and discover a new area.
Why they want to house sit
Travel enriches my life experience. I am presently working through my bucket list and because I am inspired by taking in new environments it helps me in my work of creating Fine Art pieces. Wherever I land in my travels I will care for your place like it was my own.
Their experience
First , I owned and maintained a horse ranch in El Paso, TX where I cared for 7 horses; 3 of my own and 4 which were boarded. I have experience housesitting in TX, CO, AZ , FL and WA.
Foreign countries I have lived and worked in are South Korea teaching English as a second language between 2016 and 2019.

Jen was wonderful. She was in the area and responded to our ad. It was perfect timing because it was right before we were leaving! Jen is a lovely woman who was eager to learn about our property and took lots of notes on things to do. We felt very comfortable with her at our home while we were over seas. She is always welcome to come back if she is available! Next time, hopefully our chickens will be back! :)

Reliable, Trustworthy, and Thoughtful
It was a true pleasure meeting Jen and having her house/pet sit for me! Prior to the stay she was in the area and was willing to come over to meet me, my cat, and get a rundown of the house. During the stay, she treated my cat and chickens like they were her own and even left a fun toy for Kitty to enjoy after she left. She was also thoughtful to ask about any special accommodations that might be needed for the chickens when the temperatures dipped below freezing. And she left the house in spotless condition! It was such a wonderful experience having Jen at my home and hope to have another arrangement with her in the future!
