I worked with actual cash so have been background & drug tested many times. Always passed. I’m insured and bonded. Only had a few speeding tickets but nothing in the past 20 yrs. I can provide references upon request. Just do not want to post personal info. on this site.
Loved dogs and cats all my life! Bringing a dog or cat into your home is a life long commitment and not to be taken lightly. Raising a pup/kitten is much like the care you’d give your newborn. As they mature teaching them manners and appropriate behavior is essential. But above all else just loving a dog/cat is the most precious thing on earth. Being greeted upon my arrival by a dog/cat cannot be matched for the level of joy it brings to my heart! If humans behaved more like dogs/cats this would be a beautiful life! Peaceful, loving, kind with unconditional love!
Why they want to house sit
I’m retired and have been babysitting for the past 5 years. And while I enjoy spending time with children there is nothing more special than spending time with a dog or cat. Unconditional love!

Total devotion to the job at hand. I have punched the proverbial clock in corporate America for 50 years. Nothing brings more joy than caring for and being with pets. Never received thanks at work as compared to the greeting a dog/cat gives at the end of the day.

Caring and trustworthy house/pet sitter!
Marcia house/pet sat for us while we spent almost a week away and we were lucky to have her. She took good care of our 12-year old cat, brought our mail into the house, watered our plants and kept in touch while we were away, sending photos now and then of our sweet Leo. Marcia is very capable, friendly, organized, tidy and can be trusted to take good care, not only of your pets, but also your house! We enjoyed spending time with her, chatting about our various adventures and planning more...and she makes great spaghetti!! :)

Marcia took impeccable care of my dog and home. I recently traveled to Africa and was gone for nearly a month. I had some anxiety about leaving my older dog for that long. When Marcia responded to my listing, it was clear that she was ready to be away from her own life for a month and also that she had a lot of experience and references watching pets. This seemed to be a good fit. I found Marcia to be a healthy, retired woman who had no difficulty being away for a month at a time. This gave Goose a consistent caregiver who loved her and cared for her as if she were her own. Marcia quickly developed a routine with Goose which included good daily walks, lots of love and affection and some downtime lying on the porch and watching the birds. She also watered my seedlings and other house plants and kept the house very tidy so that I returned to a clean home and a happy dog. She sent me occasional updates and photos of Goose in her favorite places. In short, Marcia was a great comfort to me while I was away from my home and pet.
