Caring, conscientious pet and home sitter

About this sitter

I am "retired" to part-time yoga teaching and pet sitting. My previous work included working as assistant librarian at the University of Aizona, Letter carrier position in Jacksonville, FL, and teacher of English and piano. If you have a piano, acoustic or digital, I would enjoy playing it. I keep 99% of my sheet music on my big iPad.

Why they want to house sit

I like to have pets in my environment for companionship. Combining this feature with travel to a different location makes for an appealing, affordable vacation that allows me to follow my usual semi-hermit lifestyle.

Their experience

I started pet sitting almost 50 years ago for relatives. Since then, I've done drop-in and home stay pet sits for friends, yoga clients, neighbors, and peolpe I met through internet sites focused on matching up pet sitters and owners.

What can they bring to the assignment

I started boarding dogs several years ago. I live in a very small house ad boarding dogs introduced me to many new experiences. It also allowed me to introduce my little og to lots of other dogs, to which she shows some curiousity , follwed soon by indifference. The exception is when we walk together. Then there is the shared sniffing adventure to enjoy.
