About this sitter
My name is Ursula, I'm austrian, retired socialworker, life in a small village near Vienna in Austria with my female Partner, two cats and 6 chicken. My daughter lives in Vienna with her husband.
I love to travel, be interested in art and culture, literature and to be in nature and with animals.
Why they want to house sit
For me housesitting is a great experience to be in a country not like a turist.
To connect housesitting - beeing with animals, looking for a house - and getting to know new places is a big pleasure for me.
Their experience
I did housesitting in the last years with cats and dogs in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Spain, Paris and Switzerland, also in Tyrol/Austria. A view years ago I worked as a volonteer in Jerusalem,Israel.

Ursula and Bärbel stayed in our home in Tyrol, Austria and looked after our Dachshund, Babsie, for two weeks over Christmas and New Year 2022/2023.
They did a superb job of looking after Babsie, spoiling her with love and attention and taking her on regular walks in the countryside around our home. We could also rely on them to do all the household chores that needed to be done while we were away.
We received regular updates on Babsie´s well-being and found a healthy and happy dog upon our return. They also left our home in the condition we handed it over to them.

Great Cat Carer
Ursula looked after our cat Franzi for three weeks in autumn, and Franzi clearly got a lot of attention! Ursula stayed in touch with us, sending pictures and was very helpful as we were still dealing with some renovation work in the house. Tidy, friendly, easy to communicate with - it was a pleasure having her!
