Canadian book editor looking for pet sitting opportunities

About this sitter

Hello! I am a remote worker / book editor looking for traveling opportunities to have working holidays. Because I work from home I will be available to your furry friend consistently throughout the week, and enjoy spending the weekends exploring wherever I am at the moment.

* I will be in Ireland Fall/Winter 2026 and would love to look after some pets while I'm there.

Why they want to house sit

I love house sitting as a way to travel while still being able to work. I generally take on longer house sits because it gives me the opportunity to really get to know an area, but I am still open to shorter sits.

Their experience

I have over 5 years of pet sitting experience, usually for cats and small-ish dogs (though I have cared for a 165lb mastiff before).

* it says that I have 0 completed sits through this site, but that's incorrect. I have pet-sit through this site before (pre-pandemic), but have been kept busy by my regulars over the last few years so haven't needed a house-sitter profile.

What can they bring to the assignment

I'm an animal lover and very comfortable multi-tasking affection while I work. I don't have pets of my own because I'm a frequent traveler, so I really enjoy any opportunity to pet-sit.
