Hi neighbors! I'm April. I'm located in the heart of Chamblee, Georgia, originally from Tucker, been in GA since 1998, and raised in S.C.. I'm a Wife and a Mom of 3 college students and am now looking for a role that gives me flexibility and lets me meet new people.

Why they want to house sit

As a traveler myself, I know how anxiety-ridden it can be to leave your home, the pets, and the plants (and let's not forget the Amazon packages)! It takes an entire day to sort everything out when you leave and an entire day to sort it all out when you return. Sheesh!

I have hired sitters when my family and I travel and the "peace of mind" I get is the cherry on top for my vacation. I want to give someone else that feeling.

Their experience

As a Mom of 3 boys and a wife, YES! I recently finished an emergency house-sitting job for an elderly man who had to be admitted to the hospital. I ensured that his home was clean, lights on, his cats fed and played with, and collected his mail and packages for 10 days.

However, I have "sat" homes previously over the years and now looking to build my client list.

What can they bring to the assignment

I can watch over your home and pets and ensure the home remains occupied while you're away. I'm flexible and can do overnight stays or daily visits or a hybrid of both.

Other duties include:
= perform light maintenance and cleaning. "leave it cleaner than I left it!"
= Answer the home telephone, take notes, and relay important messages.
= I can collect your mail and packages and store them safely inside.
= As a plant lover and gardener, checking on my plants is critical.

Bonus? I'm right here in the NE area of Atlanta. So you'd be getting a neighbor instead of a stranger.
