About this sitter

I am a friendly, fit, enthusiastic, yet calm. An English second language (ESOL)teacher of children. I'm traveling to Ventimiglia, Italy in July for three weeks, to visit Italian inlaws and then wanting to extend my stay in Europe before returning home to Bethells Beach, a small coastal settlement on Auckland's west coast.

Why they want to house sit

I prefer to stay put in a place for a while, it's a big world out there! Soak up the pace of a new culture, especially the food. I'm a keen gardener and also enjoy a tidy house. Windows are my specialty. I like a spot of people watching and looking forward to experiencing the pace of a new place. I have hosted workawayers over the years and know what is expected when someone stays in your home.

Their experience

I have a few strings to my bow, gardening, bee keeping, I am also fit and can manage hand tools if work or maintenance is required. I'm fine with animals as well as indoor and outdoor plants. I have a snobby poodle Gisborne/Gizzy, who has the best life. I've bought up a family of four children in a rural environment,, so am well versed in household and pet maintenance and management. I'm organised and don't like to live in a muddle.

What can they bring to the assignment

I know how to care for a home and its pets. I'm quiet and respectful and will leave your home in tip top condition.
