Quiet-living writer available to sit your home for min 2 weeks in Portugal

About this sitter

I'm a quiet, tidy, methodical writer (2 novels published in 2000 and 2002) and a legal translator (Italian-Eng), we're looking for a peaceful place to stay for at least 2 weeks in Portugal where I can begin work on a new novel. Irish, married, resident in Lisbon province. Mother tongue English, with excellent Italian and French and good German and Portuguese

As we own our own home, I can fulfil whatever I would expect a responsible person to do as if it were our own home. Taking into account pet-care and plant-care duties as required. I don't have testimonials yet, as it would be a first engagement, but a reference is supplied here from an Italian translation agency contact, and if interested I can send a bio/photo pic from my second published novel (2002, Orion, London)
