About this sitter

We are Alessia and Giuseppe – a couple of respectful and responsible digital nomads originally from Italy, currently exploring Southeast Asia. We work remotely, which gives us the flexibility to care for homes with full attention and presence.

We’re quiet, tidy, and treat every home as if it were our own. We genuinely enjoy the slower pace and cozy feeling of house sitting, especially after years of busy city life. Having grown up surrounded by pets, we’re also very comfortable caring for animals – especially dogs and cats – and always happy to have a furry friend or two around.

Since starting our travels over six months ago, we’ve found that house sitting offers the perfect balance between discovering new places and enjoying a peaceful, homey environment. We’re looking for house sits that allow us to work comfortably, experience local life, and, when possible, spend time with animals – something we’ve truly missed while being on the road.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting perfectly matches our lifestyle as digital nomads. It gives us the opportunity to slow down, enjoy the comfort of a real home, and truly experience the places we visit – not just as tourists, but as part of the local rhythm.

We also deeply miss the feeling of being around animals since we started travelling, especially dogs and cats who have always been part of our lives. House sitting allows us to reconnect with that sense of companionship while offering something valuable in return: peace of mind for homeowners, knowing their home and pets are being cared for with love and attention.

Their experience

Yes – while we’re new to this platform, we both have plenty of experience looking after homes and pets.

I (Alessia) grew up with dogs and cats and spent 8 years caring for two large dogs (a pointer and an English setter), handling their daily walks, routines, and grooming. Giuseppe has also looked after his grandmother’s dog for years and is very attentive and gentle with animals.

We’ve also helped friends by taking care of their homes and pets while they were away, and have a 5-star Airbnb profile that reflects our reliability, communication skills, and the respect we have for the spaces we stay in.

What can they bring to the assignment

We bring care, reliability, and a genuine love for making a home feel safe and well looked after. As remote workers, we’re home most of the day – which means we can give your pets company and keep a close eye on everything.

We’re tidy, respectful, and communicative. You can expect regular updates if you’d like them, and peace of mind knowing that your home (and pets, if any!) are in good hands.

We also adapt quickly, follow instructions carefully, and treat every assignment with the same care we would give our own space. Whether it’s watering plants, keeping things clean, or following specific routines – we’ve got it covered.
