Hi, I’m Teresa— I’m a songwriter, musician, and lifelong animal lover currently based in Nashville, TN. While I’ve spent the last decade working in the music industry, some of my very first loves in life were animals. I’m now in the midst of an exciting life transition as I prepare to relocate to Paris, and I’m seeking peaceful, meaningful spaces to land during this journey—especially those where I can offer care, connection, and support in exchange. I’ve been a dedicated pet owner and animal caretaker my entire life, with hands-on experience ranging from raising puppies to caring for senior dogs—including administering medications, giving injections, and managing special diets or mobility needs. I’ve also volunteered in veterinarian offices, shelters, and on a farm, where I helped care for horses and other animals. My own dogs have always been like my children to me, so I deeply understand the trust it takes to leave your pets and home in someone else’s hands. Additionally, I also have experience in Airbnb property management for my clients that are simply looking for someone to look after their homes and properties. Currently, I travel with my sweet, calm, and well-trained service dog Hidy, who is a large breed and fully up-to-date on all training and certifications. She’s incredibly gentle and well-socialized, and I’m always happy to discuss compatibility in advance if your sit includes other animals While making time for live performances and immersing myself/exploring a new part of the world is an important priority to me during this kind of work opportunity, much of my creative work remains remote and flexible. I live a calm, grounded lifestyle that allows me to be fully present with the animals and homes I care for. Your pet will receive loving attention, daily walks, enrichment, and thoughtful care tailored to their needs—and you’ll return to a clean, peaceful, and well-tended home. As I step into a new chapter of life in Paris, this kind of opportunity feels aligned on many levels. I find real joy in caring for animals and offering support to others, and I value the sense of home and grounding that can be created, even in unfamiliar places.

I've cared for animals my entire life—everything from young puppies to senior dogs needing medication and extra support. I’ve raised multiple dogs of my own, volunteered at vet clinics and shelters, and even helped care for horses and farm animals. My experience includes giving oral and injectable medications, eye drops, post surgery care, senior care, basic training, feeding routines, enrichment activities, and creating calm, structured environments for animals of all temperaments. I’m proud to be a 5-star rated dog walker and pet sitter on Rover, and I’ve also worked as a freelance house and pet sitter for several families—many of whom have become trusted, repeat clients. I love building long-term relationships and becoming a familiar, comforting presence for both pets and their people. I currently live with Hidy, my large, gentle, and well-trained service dog, who travels with me. She’s wonderful with other animals (with a proper introduction!) and brings a peaceful, grounding energy to every home we stay in. In addition to pet care, I have experience with Airbnb property management, including guest communication, cleaning coordination, and light maintenance checks. I’m naturally tidy and respectful, and I approach every home I stay in with care, attentiveness, and integrity. I also enjoy caring for plants and have experience with both indoor greenery and basic garden upkeep.
