About this sitter

Hello! We’re a travel-loving family of four excited to care for your home and beloved pets!

We’re a family based in the southeast of Spain, where we were born and raised. It’s where our extended family lives and where we’re raising our two young children — our curious and gentle almost-4-year-old, and our lively little one who’s nearly 2. Alongside us is Titán, our much-loved elderly hound, adopted from the street five years ago. He’s been our loyal companion ever since and has taught us so much about empathy, care, and the quiet joy of simply being there for another living being.

We love our home life, but we also love to explore. With our camper van, we often head out on short trips nearby, and we’re now ready to start longer, slower travels as a family. Housesitting allows us to do just that — discovering new places while being grounded in a real home and offering peace of mind to fellow pet lovers.

Why they want to house sit

We love animals, travel, and meaningful connection. Pet and house sitting is the perfect combination of those things for us — a way to explore the world slowly and with purpose, while offering peace of mind to fellow pet owners.

Having lived in places like Norway, New Zealand, and the U.S., we’ve always preferred to stay in real homes and connect with local people and daily life. Housesitting allows us to do that in a natural, helpful way. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for our children to grow up learning empathy, responsibility, and a love for animals and nature.

Their experience

We’ve cared for pets and homes informally in several countries, including New Zealand and the U.S., for friends and fellow travelers. These experiences have always felt special and fulfilling. We’ve looked after dogs, cats, and even chickens — feeding, walking, playing, cuddling, and just being present and kind.

Mum has a long background in animal rescue and advocacy, including adopting, fostering, and volunteering with local charities. She’s passionate about the wellbeing of animals and sharing that with others. Our kids are growing up with the same values — gentle, curious, and comfortable around animals.

What can they bring to the assignment

We're tidy, respectful, and responsible. Our children are used to being around animals and are learning to interact with them gently and thoughtfully. We always leave a space clean and cared for, and we’re happy to keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away.

We’re both independent remote workers — mum in education and dad in research — with stable incomes and flexible schedules. This means we can be present and available for your pets, not just mornings and evenings but throughout the day, too.

Animals have always been a big part of our lives. We are all animal lovers, and mum has a long history of adopting, fostering, and volunteering with animal rescue charities. She's also been active in raising awareness about responsible pet care and the importance of compassion toward all animals — values we’re now passing on to our kids.
