Hello!

We’re Bridie and Sebastian, a bilingual (English/Spanish) couple from New Zealand and Argentina who are passionate about travel and connecting with people from all walks of life. We have spent the last 6+ years exploring new places and cultures, which is what initially drew us to housesitting as a way to experience different areas more intimately. We love being able to help others by providing care for their homes and pets while they’re away.

In addition to our love for travel, we’re both committed to volunteering, especially with animals. Whether it’s fostering pets in need or assisting in animal shelters, we always try to give back in ways that align with our values.

We truly believe in making meaningful connections wherever we are, and we’re excited about the opportunity to bring that same care and enthusiasm to looking after your home and pets.

Why they want to house sit

We want to house and pet-sit because we’re looking for a more meaningful way to experience new places and communities. Over the years, we’ve realized that we enjoy connecting more deeply with the local culture and environment rather than just passing through as tourists. House and pet sitting gives us the opportunity to live like locals, build relationships with the community, and contribute by looking after someone’s home and pets.

We’re also devoted animal lovers, and we truly miss having pets in our lives while we are on the road. Caring for pets while house-sitting allows us to enjoy that connection, and we’re excited to provide your pets with the attention, care, and love they deserve!

We have experience caring for homes and pets, having looked after both for extended periods in a variety of settings. From private homes to larger properties, we've had the opportunity to manage everything from pet care to liaising with contractors, ensuring that all tasks are handled with attention and care. We’re tidy, responsible people who enjoy gardening, so you can count on your home being well-maintained during your time away! We’ve also cared for animals with health issues, and understand the importance of clear communication with the owners and experienced animal healthcare professionals to ensure the pets' wellbeing and safety. We’re passionate about providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for both pets and homes.
