About this sitter

Experienced traveler, polyglot, I am new to house sitting but find it a very good match for me at my age. I am 44, single lady, I like the idea of a tranquil holiday in a home instead of being on the move. I have experience with cats, dogs, little parrots, and chickens. I am super quiet, love nature, I'm responsible and very communicative: I will send you pics every day if you want, and be available for video calls anytime during your absence.

Why they want to house sit

I just like the idea of a break from my house, since I spend most of my time there. I read, write, crochet and work on my computer most of the time, so I would just do the same but somewhere else. Plus, I like to be of service and house sitting is a win win. I can't have pets of my own where I live, so being a temporary 'mom' for other pets is a lovely thing. I love nature and rural jobs so taking care of gardens and farm animals is also something I would love to do and that I don't get to do where I live.

Their experience

I house sat for a couple in Belgium, I took care of their apartment and 2 cats and three weeks. That was technically the only experience house sitting for strangers. It turned out very well, a very positive experience. They were very happy and so was I.
I have experience with cats, dogs, little parrots and chickens (we had all these animals when I was growing up, now I don't have pets).
I have experience with plants and vegetables, having grown my own little garden years ago. Now I don't have plants at home due to my own traveling and space issues (studio apt) but totally love taking care of plants!

I am new to the website so I can't show many references here. I can put you in touch with the couple I house sat for in Belgium. All I can give you now is my word that I am absolutely responsible, easy going, precise, clean, I take very good care of things and animals, I am discrete around someone else's property, I am very communicative as in I'm willing to send pics every day if you like and be available for video calls.
