About this sitter

My husband and I are both retired. Myself from from health service after 42 years and husband cival servant over 30 years. We have been happily married for 39 years with Twin boys and 4 grandchildren 2 girls and 2 doggy boys (a cockapoo & a Yorkshire terrier). We would like to escape the damp winters of Northern Ireland for crisp pleasant weather around the world. We love to holiday and have treated rental properties as we would our own; leaving them spotless. We do the same with house sitting homes we have had the absolute pleasure of looking after with home owners inviting us back for repeat sits.

Why they want to house sit

We love the experience of travelling to other countries and experience different cultures and climates. We love to take care for other people's homes & pets.

Their experience

We have over 15 years experience of housesitting, with mindmyhouse & trusted house sitters in France, Malta, Washinton DC and Isle of Wight, with 2 or 3 Labradors, poodle, terriers & a Pyrenees mountain dog. We have not been active for a few years as we had repeat requests from previous homeowners and we also decided to rent in France for the winter months of 2022, 23 & 24 for 3 months.

We are a reliable, honest, hardworking, dependable couple. With years of experience looking after dogs, outdoor cats, gardens and plants. We are very conscientious and treat other people's homes with great care , attention and cleanliness. We are Financially independent home owners. Our jobs required us to be police checked. We have very positive references from home owners not on mindmyhouse platform who we have housesat for on multiple occasions with repeat sits which we can forward via email with their consent. Brian is very practical if an emergency arises with homes and we have looked after gardens and outside areas really well.
