Hi! I'm a caring and responsible 22-year-old recently graduated radiology technologist from the Netherlands. I run my own business remotely, which gives me the freedom to combine work with my passion for travel and caring for animals. In my free time, I love playing hockey, staying active through sports and hiking, cooking, and exploring new places.

Animals have always played a big role in my life. I grew up with two cats and currently share the care of a family dog back home in the Netherlands. While I’m not in a place to have a pet of my own right now, I truly miss being around animals. That’s why house sitting, especially for pets, is the perfect fit for me — it brings together a sense of home, purpose, and companionship.

I'm experienced with both dogs and cats and genuinely love spending time with them. I value creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for pets, just as I would for my own. I'm tidy, dependable, and respectful of other people’s spaces, and I’m excited to offer peace of mind to homeowners while giving their pets the attention and care they deserve.

In a house sit, I’m looking for a place that feels like home — ideally one that includes furry friends to care for. Whether it's in a quiet countryside or a vibrant city, I’m open to different locations as long as it’s a good fit for the pets and the homeowners.

Why they want to house sit

I want to house sit because it allows me to combine several things that are important to me: caring for animals, feeling at home while traveling, and having a peaceful environment where I can focus on my remote work. As someone who grew up with cats and now helps care for a dog at my parents’ home, I know how much joy and comfort animals bring and I miss that connection when I’m away.

House sitting gives me the opportunity to give pets the love and attention they deserve while offering homeowners peace of mind that their home and animals are in good hands. I see it as a mutually valuable experience: I get to enjoy the presence of pets and a homely atmosphere, and the owners can leave with confidence knowing everything is well looked after.

For me, it’s more than just staying in a place — it’s about providing genuine care and creating a sense of continuity and calm for the animals while their humans are away :)

Their experience

Yes, I have a lot of experience caring for animals. I grew up with pets and have looked after a variety of animals over the years — including two cats, a dog, rabbits, and a hamster.

Two years ago, I house sat in Spain on two separate occasions, caring for two cats and a dog while their owners were away. I absolutely loved the experience — spending quality time with the animals, exploring the area, and feeling a real sense of home while helping someone else feel at ease about their pets and house.

I also regularly help care for my family’s dog in the Netherlands, and I’ve often looked after the pets of friends and relatives. While I'm new to official house sitting platforms, I'm very comfortable with daily routines, walks, playtime, and maintaining a clean and safe home environment.

What can they bring to the assignment

Having grown up with animals and experienced what it feels like to leave my own pets behind, I truly understand how important it is to be able to go away with peace of mind — knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. That’s why I always make it a priority to send regular updates and fun photos to the owners, as often as they’d like. It’s important to me that pet parents feel connected and reassured while they’re away.

I bring a strong sense of responsibility, genuine care for animals, and a calm, respectful presence in someone else's home. As a trained radiology technologist and remote business owner, I’m highly organized, reliable, and used to working with precision and trust.

Because I work remotely, I’ll be present in the home most of the time — which is ideal for pets who benefit from companionship and a consistent routine. I’m also very clean, tidy, and respectful of other people’s spaces, treating every home with the same care I’d give my own.
