About this sitter

Hi, we are Mike and Sue and have both recently retired and are excited to help you take care of your property, pets and plants while you are away. We currently live in Minnesota but are willing to travel to most areas of the world to accommodate you. Mike retired as an engineer manager from a major airline (with full airline flight benefits) and Sue retired working as a chemist manager and regulatory affairs specialist for both pharmaceutical and medical device companies. We are both very responsible and have volunteered our services to many charities including Habitat for Humanity, Smile Network, Animal Humane Services, and Second-Hand Hounds.

Countries we have traveled to include Canada, Mexico, Iceland, Germany, Italy, England, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland, Norway, Austria, Cayman Island, Dominican Republic.

Why they want to house sit

We think house sitting is a perfect fit for us since we love to travel, love new adventures, have the time, and especially love animals.

Their experience

We were both raised with many animals and had pets throughout our marriage. Unfortunately, we no longer have pets but this allows us this great opportunity to love your pets. We often dog sit our friend’s Golden Retriever which we absolutely love and we make sure they get daily updates and photos of their dog. It’s a win/win for both parties.

While traveling, we often rent homes from VRBO or Airbnb and respect their properties as if they were our own and respectively communicate with housekeeping and ground maintenance personnel.
