Mature/responsible home owner, animal lover, mother, wife,& former rental property owner seeking house sitting opportunities for the summer of 2025

About this sitter

I am a neat freak with 3 children. They are twin 12 and a half year olds and a 13 and a half year old. We are re-locating and would love to house/pet sit for the summer while our home sells. My husband is on assignment all summer for work and will be traveling. My three children are ALL in the Gifted and Talented Program at school and are perpetual honor roll students. They also play school sports. They are neat, helpful, clean, and responsible animal lovers/caregivers and have had household responsibilities from a young age. We have had several dogs and cats who have passed on from old age. We have a Siamese cat now who had a litter of kittens. She does not need to come with us to house sit. We have a lovely neighbor to care for her who knows her well.
I was previously in real estate and finance. I owned my own rental property as well as managed rental property for others. I became a volunteer youth coach to be with my kids, and am also an animal foster/volunteer with a local rescue. My kids and I love to travel and spend time outdoors. I love to cook and do so frequently. I enjoy doing home organizing projects as well.

Why they want to house sit

We are relocating to be near my sister and are leaving our home of 21 years. My husband travels all the time for work and is on assignment all summer long. If he pops in for a visit, he would stay in a hotel if I was house sitting at the time. My kids won't always be with me, as they will periodically fly to where my husband/their dad is working. When I completely retire in the future. I would like to house-sit to keep busy and to be able to be near where my kids end up attending college and grad school .

What can they bring to the assignment

I am highly organized and detail oriented. As a property manager, mom, coach, and pet owner, I am fast on my feet and respond quickly and effectively to everything from the status quo to the sudden and outlandishly unexpected events in life. I am an animal lover through and through and have experience with dogs, cats, chickens, fish, house birds, wildlife, and reptiles. I have breeding experience with dogs and cats and have cared for neonatal animals who have been orphaned or rejected.
I am a neat freak and my family and I never go to bed with a messy house. No laundry on the floor no dishes in the sink and all things put in their place! I am a bit of a perfectionist. I don't believe in cutting corners or doing anything half-baked. I maintain a credit score of over 800 at all times. My friends call me "Monica" (from 'Friends'). If you have some organizational projects you haven't found the time for, like an unorganized pantry or shoe closet, I can help, that is right up my alley! If you didn't have time to get that last load of towels done before leaving, I have you covered. If you know you will be tired upon returning and won't feel like going to the store or cooking, give me a list and I will handle it. I can have breakfast, lunch or dinner ready to go and a few days of meal prep completed as well. I am well versed in a wide palate range from low-carb/high protein, organic, gluten-free, vegetarian, fruit bowls, carnivore, sea food, comfort foods, quick-grabs, casseroles, as well as desserts.
