Responsible and Caring Animal Lover Available for House Sitting – May to July 2025

About this sitter

Hi! I’m Clara, a 19-year-old from Germany currently in a gap phase before beginning my studies in my hometown. I’m a non-smoker, responsible, and have a calm yet active lifestyle. I’m looking for short-term house sits between May and July 2025, ideally where I can care for pets and experience a new environment. I enjoy exploring cities, learning about local cultures, and love spending time with animals.

Why they want to house sit

I see house sitting as a meaningful way to travel affordably while supporting others with my skills. It’s important to me that homeowners feel at ease knowing their pets and home are well looked after. I also love animals and appreciate the peaceful, homey feeling of staying in a lived-in space instead of a hotel.

Their experience

While I haven’t done solo house sitting through platforms yet, I have hands-on experience caring for homes and animals. I have a cat of my own, regularly look after my brother’s mini Maltese, and last summer helped my parents take care of two border collies and a house for family friends. I’m confident in my ability to be responsible and attentive in a house sitting role.
