About this sitter
We are Christel and Rob, 45 and 63 years old, and we’ve been married for over 15 years. Rob has two adult children, and we don’t have children together.
Both Rob and Christel have served in the military. Rob is retired after 42 years of service, and Christel served for 17 years. She now works as a self-employed nurse.
We travel a lot and enjoy life to the fullest. We often spend time in Curaçao and on cruise ships.
We love hiking, good food, and relaxing on the beach or by the pool. We’re active yet calm. We don’t smoke or use drugs.
We're looking for a comfortable, non-smoking home where we can care for the pets that are present. We’re happy to follow any specific routines or instructions to ensure your pets are happy, safe, and well looked after while you're away. A calm environment with good communication is important to us, and we’re open to both short- and longer-term sits.

Christel and Rob were perfect. As people they have many years of selfless help for others and are kind and thoughtful. As Pet Sitters, there is nothing more you could wish for. They communicated early and often as we planned our trip. They made special arrangements to come early to meet us our and learn the specifics of our home. While we were away, they sent timely updates about the animals with pictures. Upon our return, the home was perfectly clean and the pets were happy.
