About this sitter
We are Christel and Rob, 45 and 63 years old, and we’ve been married for over 15 years. Rob has two adult children, and we don’t have children together.
Both Rob and Christel have served in the military. Rob is retired after 42 years of service, and Christel served for 17 years. She now works as a self-employed nurse.
We travel a lot and enjoy life to the fullest. We often spend time in Curaçao and on cruise ships.
We love hiking, good food, and relaxing on the beach or by the pool. We’re active yet calm. We don’t smoke or use drugs.
We're looking for a comfortable, non-smoking home where we can care for the pets that are present. We’re happy to follow any specific routines or instructions to ensure your pets are happy, safe, and well looked after while you're away. A calm environment with good communication is important to us, and we’re open to both short- and longer-term sits.

We enjoy house and pet sitting because it allows us to experience new places in a more personal and meaningful way. We love the idea of helping others enjoy their travels with peace of mind, knowing their home and beloved pets are in caring and responsible hands.

Such a lovely couple
Such a lovely couple! I really enjoyed meeting them & wish we had more time to get to know each other. They treated my home like it was their own & my girls like little divas. They provided Excellent communication when comms were available. My little Moana injured herself some way while I was gone & the care & communications was just top notch! She Christel offered to get her to the vet, described the situation in detail & sent pictures. She did everything she could to ensure the health & safety of my babies. Due to her great care & communications, Moana is recoverIng nicely & is getting back to her healthy, happy, bouncy self. I couldn’t be more pleased with this sitter. I just feel terrible that this happened during her time here. But if it had to happen while I was gone, I’m grateful that it was Christel taking care of them. She & her husband are truly fabulous!

Great sitters
Rob and Chris were great sitters! They took really good care of Bleu and stacked up all our packages that we didn't know we'd be receiving while we were gone (lol)! We got daily updates on Bleu and they were very responsive before and during the sit! They are travelers like us, so we had a lot in common and got to chat about our travels when we had dinner with them the night before we left. The house was clean when we returned and Bleu was happy! We look forward to keeping in touch with them and hopefully visiting when we are in the Netherlands or Curacao! Thank you both!!

Christel and Rob were perfect
Christel and Rob were perfect. As people they have many years of selfless help for others and are kind and thoughtful. As Pet Sitters, there is nothing more you could wish for. They communicated early and often as we planned our trip. They made special arrangements to come early to meet us our and learn the specifics of our home. While we were away, they sent timely updates about the animals with pictures. Upon our return, the home was perfectly clean and the pets were happy. Consider yourself lucky if Chrystal and Rob apply to watch your pets and home.
