About this sitter
I am a retired Law Enforcement Officer of 30 years. I have been living in Costa Rica for the past five years, as a result I have travelled extensively throughout the world. I continue to look for opportunities to enrich my life and house sitting enables me to do that.
Why they want to house sit
It gives me the ability to continue travelling and staying at different locations while giving comfort to those who require a responsible person to look after their homes and pets.

Yes, I am experienced in house sitting. Prior to the Pandemic I house sat for 3-4 years, unfortunately when I renewed, I lost all of my written references. I have submitted a request to the company to try and merge my old account with this one.

Great caring pet and house sitter
Dave took care of our house and dog for 2 weeks while we were in France! We can’t say enough good things about David. He was extremely loving and caring to our 13 yo lab Bella. We felt very comfortable leaving Dave to manage our home. He exudes confidence. He took care of our house and yard and even did some interior painting for us!! David did an excellent job
During May 2015 David pet & housesat for us while my husband and I were travelling for two weeks. We were so happy to have found David to care for our two dogs and our four bedroom house. Our two dogs are very active and require a lot of outdoor stimulation. David did an excellent job ensuring they had enough exercise on a daily basis. He is an active man himself and took the dogs on plenty of long walks. When we returned home our dogs were extremely content with no sign of anxiousness and we know that means they were very well cared for. David also mowed our lawn and kept our house in tidy condition. It was wonderful to return to a clean house after a long day of travelling. I appreciated David's politeness and his respect for our home and our privacy during his stay. I would absolutely recommend David as a house and/or pet sitter. We hope that he will be able to pet & housesit in the future for us.
