About this sitter

We are Stéphanie and Jordi, a French-Spanish couple who have been traveling for several years, driven by a love for discovering new places and connecting with people from all walks of life. We’re also nature lovers at heart and passionate about trekking — spending time outdoors and exploring peaceful landscapes is one of our greatest joys.

Throughout our journey, we’ve had the joy of being surrounded by animals during nearly all of our experiences. Their presence brings us a deep sense of comfort and happiness — we truly feel at home when we’re in their company.

We’ve taken part in various volunteering projects and house-sitting stays around the world, always with a strong sense of responsibility. We are calm, respectful, reliable, and detail-oriented. We know how to care for a home with love and dedication, and we always leave things better than we found them.

One of us has worked in several animal shelters, so we’re comfortable with pets of all kinds — including those with special needs or timid temperaments.

House-sitting is, for us, a meaningful way to continue exploring the world while being well accompanied. It’s a win-win exchange based on trust, care, and presence. We are looking for peaceful homes, ideally surrounded by nature, where we can work remotely (we just need good Wi-Fi!) and enjoy the companionship of animals while offering peace of mind to the owners.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting is the perfect way for us to combine our love of travel, animals, and peaceful living. As online language teachers, we have the freedom to work from anywhere, and we truly enjoy staying in calm, homely environments rather than hotels or tourist areas.

Caring for someone’s home and pets gives real meaning to our travels. We love the sense of purpose and trust that comes with looking after a place and its animal companions. It allows us to live more slowly and mindfully, while offering homeowners the peace of mind they deserve.

For us, it’s not just a way to discover new places — it’s a lifestyle based on respect, presence, and genuine connection.

Their experience

Yes, we have solid experience in house sitting and animal care. We’ve looked after the pets of many friends over the years, and we’ve also worked as volunteers on farms and in animal shelters — always surrounded by animals and happy to care for them with attention and love.

We’re confident looking after dogs, cats, chickens, and other small animals, including feeding, walking, and giving them affection or space depending on their needs and on their own character.

We’re also comfortable with house maintenance: we know how to take care of a home, do basic gardening, water plants, and keep everything clean and organized.

We’re respectful, versatile, eager to learn new things, and always happy to help. We adapt easily to different environments and do our best to make homeowners feel reassured and satisfied with our stay.
