I’m a mission-driven CEO, traveler, and animal lover who thrives in peaceful, grounded environments. I work remotely, so I’m looking for house sits that are well-suited for remote work—ideally with a dedicated workspace and reliable high-speed internet. This setup allows me to be present in the home and with your pets all day, offering them consistent companionship and care.

I’m drawn to a variety of settings—beach, city, or mountainside—and appreciate being in lovely, relaxing environments where I can settle into a calm rhythm. Access to a car is a plus, though I’m also comfortable navigating public transportation in places where that’s an option.

Sometimes, I’ll be joined by my husband, Michael, a self-employed carpenter and the owner of History Lives Carpentry. He’s known for beautiful built-ins, historically appropriate renovations, and bringing timeless craftsmanship into modern homes. On past sits, he’s even lent a hand with light repairs—an added bonus if you’re open to it. Michael shares my love of animals and brings a calm, thoughtful presence to any space we’re in together.

More than anything, I’m looking for a home where I can offer steady care and connection while you’re away—both to your pets and to the space itself.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting is part of a larger life chapter for me. I’m intentionally exploring new places—not just passing through, but truly living in different environments to see what feels like home. Being in a real home, with pets and neighborhood routines, is grounding and far more meaningful than staying in a hotel or Airbnb. I love discovering a favorite walk, local coffee spot, or familiar face. It’s a way to experience connection and community, even in a short window of time. House sitting lets me live that kind of life while offering something valuable in return.

Yes, I have plenty of hands-on experience with animals and home care. I’ve shared my life with cats, dogs, and other pets for over 30 years and regularly care for pets belonging to friends, family, and my co-founder. Animals have always been part of our family and are treated with love, attention, and respect. My sits are intentional—I prefer longer-term opportunities where I can settle in, bond with pets, and fully support the household. I understand the responsibility of caring for someone’s home and companions and take it seriously.

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring calm energy, attentiveness, and genuine joy in being with animals. I meet pets where they are—whether they need play, walks, lap naps, or quiet companionship—and I care for them the way I care for my own. I’m respectful of your home and attentive to the details that matter.

I also love gardening and can help with light weeding and caring for your houseplants. I'm happy to send regular photo updates and keep in close communication, so you always feel connected and reassured while you're away.

If it’s helpful, I’m happy to do a video call beforehand and, when possible, arrive a bit early to get acquainted with the routines, your animals, and the home. It also gives you a chance to get to know me and feel confident in the hand-off.
