Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a 37 year old boy mom from Texas, a registered dietitian nutritionist, and a cat mama. I am an intelligent, responsible, resourceful, loving, kind, and peaceful person looking to experience life and home in a different part of the world.

Why they want to house sit

I love to travel and I am at a crossroads in my career, giving me some time to explore a different way of life that is more in alignment with my dreams and passions. In this next chapter of my life, I want to create a homestead of my own with gardens, orchards, and animals, and want to experience someone else's firsthand! I have experience caring for animals, farms, and gardens, and would love to care for yours!

Beyond being a single mother and the sole caretaker of my own home, I have previously worked as a professional pet sitter back when I lived in Houston, TX (where I am from) before setting out on my career path. I would spend quality time with, feed, walk, and have overnights with dogs and cats. I also spent a year doing a work-trade program in Maui, Hawaii, working on organic farms with chickens, orchards, and beautiful, lush gardens. I am not a master gardener, but I know the basics and am at my happiest tending to gardens and immersing myself in nature.

What can they bring to the assignment

I will bring love and care to your home, land, and animals. I will care for it like my own (I'm a homebody!) and communicate with you throughout as you see fit. I am happy to jump on a call so that we can get to know each other and discuss roles and responsibilities for your assignment. I have a 6 year old son that I may be interested in bringing along with me, if allowed -- but this is not a requirement. I look forward to speaking with you!
