About this sitter

We’re digital nomads working in psychology, marketing, and event creation — which means we’re constantly on the move.
Although we officially share a flat in Málaga, we spend most of our time traveling across Europe.

Lately, we’ve felt a deep calling to reconnect with animals — something we truly miss.

Because we travel so much, we’ve chosen not to adopt, knowing we wouldn’t be able to give them the time and presence they deserve.

Now, we’re looking for meaningful ways to be close to animals again, in ways that fit this nomadic life.

Why they want to house sit

Honestly, we’re drawn to house sitting because we want to experience the culture of each country in a more grounded and personal way — not just through Airbnbs, hostels, or hotels, but by spending time in real homes, in local neighborhoods.

We naturally have a strong sense of care for the spaces that host us. We treat every home as if it were our own, always leaving it just as clean, organized, and respected as we found it.

On top of that, spending time with animals during our stays would be something we’d truly love. We enjoy all kinds of animals — dogs, cats, birds, farm animals, even more exotic ones (though we admit we’re a little nervous around snakes!).

And of course, being able to save on accommodation while traveling so much makes a big difference for us financially — it gives us room to invest in the things that matter most to us, like festivals, creative gatherings, and meaningful human connections.

Even if we do not have animals, if someone it's looking for a beautiful flat while we are not home to take care of our plants, we are open for it!

Their experience

Throughout my entire childhood, I grew up with both dogs and cats at home. They were part of our daily life and family routine, and caring for them taught me early on about responsibility, patience, and unconditional love.

Since leaving home to go to university, and later as I began travelling and working, I haven’t had the chance to live with animals again, except for the times I return to my parents’ home and reunite with the pets I grew up with. Every time I’m around them, I remember how deeply I miss that connection.

We know that every animal has its own rhythm, personality, and little needs — and we truly care about understanding those unique details. For us, it’s essential to know what each animal requires in order to care for them in a way that feels safe, respectful, and nurturing.

House sitting gives us the beautiful opportunity to reconnect with animals and to offer them presence, affection, and consistency while their humans are away — something we value deeply.

What can they bring to the assignment

We’re really longing to reconnect with nature — and especially with animals. There’s a genuine sense of missing that connection in our lives, so we would truly enjoy and appreciate the chance to spend meaningful time with them, not just having a house for free in a place we visit.

As digital nomads, we usually work from home during the day and go out in the afternoons or evenings for social time. That means we’ll be around most of the day, offering company, care, and presence. We’re also happy to take pets out for walks whenever they need it — we see it as a joyful part of the daily rhythm, not a task.

Spending time with animals again would be a gift, and we’re excited about creating a peaceful, caring routine together with them.
