Cat lover seeking place to practice French

About this sitter

I’m an early-40s single female who owns her own public health consulting business and loves to travel. I’m responsible, reliable, and enjoy exploring new places through food and physical activity. I’m trying to improve my French skills and would love to find a house sit in a city suburb, smaller town, or village where I can interact with locals and practice speaking.

Why they want to house sit

I’m beginning the process of relocating to France and am hoping to spend some time in different places to see where I might like to settle. Having a short-term home instead of a hotel will allow me to experience a location from a better perspective.

Yes, I have completed two prior house/cat sits thru this site (although my membership lapsed and they are no longer shown) and foster cats of all ages through my local humane society when I’m at home.

What can they bring to the assignment

I absolutely adore cats and have experience with all types and needs: from bottle-fed kittens to hospice care; active and friendly to shy/fearful to couch potato; medications and special diets; etc. I’m a tidy, considerate person who will take good care of your pets and your home while you’re away.
