About this sitter

I am a registered nurse who works in hospice care, and I have a 14 year old son. We are both avid animal lovers and adventurers. I am open to just about any type of sitting need whether it be for one pet, a menagerie, or a house/property sit. I would like for my son be able to join me. We have travelled all over the US and some internationally, and have experienced all types of accommodations and climates. We have cared for and spent time around many types of animals. Why they want to house sit

I love the idea of being entrusted to take care of someone’s home and animals while they are away, and to bring them peace that everything is being well cared for. It’s a joy to meet new people and pets, and visit new places.

Their experience

I am very experienced. Between family and friends, I have house sat dozens of times over the years. I have cared for a big, beautiful estate with gardens and a salt water pool, to small apartments and homes with cats, dogs, reptiles, and tiny creatures. Many of them I have done repeated house sits.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am not afraid to get dirty and am up for any challenge. I am comfortable with old, rustic, and off grid homes, larger properties, pools, general landscaping, and all sizes of animals. I have raised chickens from eggs, fostered dogs and cats (have also had many of my own), bottle fed kittens and baby racoons, and have had fish, rabbits, and rats. I have both a vegetable garden and flower garden that I enjoy tending to. Respecting people’s requests and taking every detail into consideration is something I take seriously. My son is also at an age that he can really lend a helping hand.
