Hi there! I’m Michelle, a lifelong animal lover, devoted former dog and cat mom, and now full-time traveler on a journey to explore the beauty of America—one furry friend at a time.

After recently saying goodbye to my beloved poodle, Chance, who was by my side for 14 wonderful years, (the little guy in the photos) I felt a huge shift. The house felt too quiet… and so did my heart. Rather than sit in sadness and grief, I made a big decision: to travel, discover new places, and share the love I still carry for animals with the pets of others.

Why they want to house sit

Caring for animals is second nature to me. I know what it means to entrust someone with your pet and your home—it’s deeply personal. I’ve been on the other side, leaving Chance with trusted sitters, and I know how important peace of mind is while you’re away.

I had the joy of pet sitting for a co-worker while she and her husband were away. They entrusted me with their two wonderful dogs and their home:

A young, energetic chocolate lab—adorable, playful, and always ready for cuddles.

A senior German Shepherd with arthritis—gentle, wise, and in need of a little extra care and patience.

We bonded quickly, and I made sure both pups felt safe, loved, and comfortable in their own routines. It was such a fulfilling experience, and they were so grateful for the peace of mind.

Caring for them gave me firsthand experience with everything from high energy playtime to senior care, medication routines, and lots of cozy cuddle sessions.
