We are Wendy and Alex, a recently retired couple from Vancouver who have discovered a true passion for house and pet sitting. Having both grown up surrounded by animals, we feel most at home when there are pets to care for and a home to keep warm and welcoming. Travel and new experiences are things we value, and house sitting allows us to combine both while giving homeowners the peace of mind they deserve.

We’re calm, dependable, and easygoing by nature. Alex is practical and handy with home tasks, while Wendy brings a nurturing touch and attention to detail. Together, we make a strong team—organized, respectful, and always focused on making sure pets are happy and homes are cared for.

We bring many years of personal and practical experience in both pet care and home/property management. As lifelong animal lovers, we have cared for a wide range of pets — including dogs, cats, chickens, rats, birds, fish, and horses. From energetic puppies to senior companions, we understand the importance of keeping routines consistent, ensuring plenty of exercise, and providing both medical and emotional support where needed.

We are especially sensitive to the unique needs of rescued animals and the psychological sensitivities they may carry. Patience, calmness, and gentle reassurance are central to our approach, helping every animal feel safe, secure, and loved while their owners are away.

Alongside pet care, we bring extensive experience in property management and landscaping. We have maintained homes ranging from city apartments to larger rural properties, ensuring they remain secure, clean, and well cared for. Alex is practical and handy with general maintenance, while Wendy focuses on organization and presentation. Together, we can manage indoor and outdoor upkeep — from watering gardens and maintaining landscaping to ensuring everything inside the home runs smoothly.
