Hello hello!

We, Laura and Linda, are both 26 years old and are looking for a house sit in nature from July 14th to July 27th or somewhere in between.
We enjoy cozy nights in with freshly cooked food and a good podcast or movie. We met ten years ago whilst travelling and have been best friends and travel buddies ever since. Since we have never lived in the same country, we enjoy staycations a lot to get a taste of a life with the other person being just down the hall. Both our native language is German, we are both fluent in English and have technically had the pleasure of studying French in school, which did leave us with basic vocabulary (but unfortunately not much more).

I, Linda (the one with the glasses), grew up in the Austrian countryside with rabbits, a cat and also some sheep for a short period of time. I took horse riding lessons when I was younger up until I was about 18 years old and somehow always had a soft spot for donkeys. But of course the animals who took the prime spot in my heart are dogs. Growing up I always took the dogs of my neighborhood for walks, playing with them and committing to taking care of them for the summer months. I started a traineeship to become a dogtrainer last year, which I am close to completing. I also had the pleasure of sitting the beautiful dog and cat in the pictures.
I was blessed to grow up in a house with a big garden and a natural pool, and I obviously had to help maintaining it. Today I look back, glad to have learnt gardening skills and how to take care of pools.
I would say out of Laura and me, I am more of a handywoman. I have renovated my flat in Vienna, so I am not shy to get familiar and use power tools if nessesary. I am quick to find solutions to problems and in moments of panic and uncertainty I manage to stay calm and think logically. Laura however is the more disciplined one of us and will make sure we will stay on schedule and not forget anything we have to do. She is very responsible and reliable, getting things done, if they need to be done.

Lauras wit and out-of-the-box-thinking also always adds the cherries on top. She pours just a little extra love into everything she does. Her attention to detail makes every room look and feel cozy, every meal look and taste exceptional and every conversation heartfelt and recharging. Laura grew up in the german countryside. She soon discovered her love for food and nutrition, yoga and finding her way to listen to her heart. She has beed traveling around the world since May 2024, from working in a bar and coffeeshop in Australia to working on a raspberry farm in portugal and driving through the phillipines, she has a curious mind and a big heart.
Laura will never stop talking about all the appreciation she has for everything and everyone in her life. If you trust your house with her, she will fill it with love.

As you can see we enjoy having fun and laughter, but also love deep talks and cozy nights. We would love to go and recharge by taking care of your house (and pets if you have some).

Why they want to house sit

We want to recharge and flee the heat and hectic cities. We love taking care and pouring love into houses, gardens and pets and reconnecting with nature, which can be challenging living in cities.

Their experience

We both have sitted our parents houses and plenty of friends flats. We love staying in apartments or cars/vans during our holidays and always caring about these places as if they were our own, or even better.

What can they bring to the assignment

Linda is experienced in taking care of pets of all sorts. Dogs, Cats, Horses, Rabbits, Chickens are all animals she grew up with. She loves cleaning and knitting or crocueting. She’s basically a nonna in a young woman’s body.
Laura loves pouring love into plants and gardens. She is very interested in a self-sustainable livestyle and would love to have a little garden of her own to grow veggies and fruit (especially mangoes!)
