About this sitter

Hi! We’re Jonna and Mei – a couple based in London where we live on a cosy narrowboat. Jonna is 35 and from Sweden, and Mei is 36 and from Sardinia, Italy. We both love animals (like, really love them!) and have been doing pet and house sitting professionally for a while now.

We’re looking for house sits where we can care for animals and enjoy a change of scene—whether it’s a quiet countryside escape or exploring a new neighbourhood. For us, it’s the perfect way to combine our love for animals, travel, and living like a local.

Why they want to house sit

We really love being around animals—they bring us a lot of joy. House sitting gives us the chance to look after pets in their own home while also spending time in new places in a relaxed, enjoyable way.

We understand that leaving your home and animals with someone new can feel a bit stressful. That’s why we always do our best to keep things easy and worry-free. We’ll send updates, take good care of your space, and treat your pets with the same love and respect we’d give our own.

Their experience

We’re new to this platform, but definitely not new to caring for pets and homes. We’ve both been pet and house sitting for several years and have looked after all kinds of animals—young and old, shy and playful, energetic or needing a bit of extra care.

We’re comfortable giving medication, following specific routines, and making sure pets feel safe and happy in their own space. We’ve received great feedback from past sits and are happy to share reviews and lots of cute photos from our previous furry clients.

What can they bring to the assignment

We’re calm, reliable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your pet is full of energy or prefers quiet company, we’ll go at their pace and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. We’re happy to follow your usual routines and any special instructions.

We’re very respectful of other people’s spaces and take care to keep things clean, tidy, and peaceful—just like we do in our own home. We're also happy to help with tasks like watering plants and collecting post. You can expect regular updates and photos while you're away, so you can relax knowing everything is going smoothly.
