About this sitter

We are a German couple, both 26 years old, currently living in Munich. After traveling the world, working several months in Japan and half a year in Valencia, Spain, we are now seeking a calm and cozy house sit in the US from October to November. One of us is currently writing a Master’s thesis in Robotics & AI, and the other is a co-founder working with a US-based company. We are looking for a peaceful environment with good energy, perfect for focused work, enjoying local life, and escaping the German winter.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting allows us to explore a new part of the world while living like locals. We love the idea of caring for someone’s home (including pets and plants ;) ) with respect and reliability, and in return having a peaceful and inspiring place to stay. It’s a great way to combine our remote work and studies with meaningful travel and hopefully good local food :P

Their experience

Yes, we have house sitting experience (outside this platform), including caring for pets (cats mostly but also dogs), plants (cared for a huge garden very regularly), and maintaining homes while owners were away. We’re responsible, clean, and take pride in being trustworthy guests. We’d be happy to provide references upon request.

What can they bring to the assignment

We bring a high level of responsibility, reliability, and respect for your home and animals. We are quiet, clean, and organized guests who understand the importance of clear communication and trust (especially when caring for someone’s private space!). We both work remotely and spend most of our time at home, which means your pets (if any) will never be alone for long.

We are also happy to take care of outdoor spaces. Whether it's watering plants, collecting mail, we handle tasks with care and attention. You can expect your home to be just as you left it (or better ;)), when you return.
