About this sitter
I'm a calm, responsible, non smoker. I have a flexible job as a freelance teacher and translator. I like working from home, writing, working out, reading, taking care of plants and spending time with animals. I'm easy going, tidy, artistic and practical.

Why they want to house sit
House sitting has been a fulfilling experience for me. One that I found "accidentally" as a natural extension of working in multicultural environments. It has allowed me to meet interesting people, and places where I can find peace to work in excellent four-legged company.
Their experience
I have loads of experience with dogs and cats - large, small, friendly or grumpy, energetic or lazy, young or old, I'm a confident and patient carer, I am kind and comfortable with any type of care they might need; brushing, giving scratches, cuddling, playing, cleaning after them, giving tablets etc. I have experience with pets of all ages, from months old ones to very old ones (18.5 year old dog and 22 year old cat). I'm happy to take dogs on good walks or to play with cats, am careful not to startle bunnies nor step on tortoises. I´ve been pet-sitting from a young age, but more intensively since 2020. Animals feel comfortable with me and I enjoy their company.
What can they bring to the assignment
I am patient and attentive with animals, and I am careful and respectful of peoples homes. I like to take candid pictures of animals, so home owners always receive a few fun pics with my updates. I am calm and clear minded when problems arise, will always do what is necessary and in the best interest of a pet and home. I value good communication. I speak English, Spanish and basic Swedish. A wonderful person and a caring cat sitter!
Francisca was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter for our two cats, Pinky and Pina, during her three weeks with us. She took loving, attentive care of both of them: Pinky, our very lively red cat who needs careful weight management, and Pina, our calico girl who has some neurological challenges and kidney issues requiring extra attention. Francisca handled both of their needs with real skill and genuine care, and it was clear she has a natural, beautiful way of connecting with animals. Beyond being wonderful with our cats, Francisca is simply a fantastic person to have in your home. She's warm, discreet, and deeply responsible, and we always felt completely at ease leaving our house and cats in her hands. She's also incredibly interesting and generous with her time and stories — she has led such a rich life and shared so many incredible experiences with us during her stay. What truly touched us was her creativity and thoughtfulness: she wrote a poem for Pina and a short story starring Pinky, which we will treasure forever. These little gestures said everything about who she is — someone with real talent, imagination, and a big heart. We feel so lucky to have had Francisca look after our cats, and we would welcome her back in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommended to anyone looking for a pet sitter who will treat your animals — and your home — like family.

Nice and trustworthy house and pet sitter
Francisca took care of our home, cat and plants for three weeks. It was pleasant to meet her and have a dinner. Our cat and plants had better care than we ourselves are able to, and she left the apartment clean and tidy. During her stay she sent frequent updates and responded swiftly to communication. We hope to see Francisca again
