I'm a calm, responsible, non smoker. I have a flexible job as a freelance teacher and translator. I like working from home, writing, working out, reading, taking care of plants and spending time with animals. I'm easy going, tidy, artistic and practical.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting has been a fulfilling experience for me. One that I found "accidentally" as a natural extension of working in multicultural environments. It has allowed me to meet interesting people, and places where I can find peace to work in excellent four-legged company.

Their experience

I have loads of experience with dogs and cats - large, small, friendly or grumpy, energetic or lazy, young or old, I'm a confident and patient carer, I am kind and comfortable with any type of care they might need; brushing, giving scratches, cuddling, playing, cleaning after them, giving tablets etc. I have experience with pets of all ages, from months old ones to very old ones (18.5 year old dog and 22 year old cat). I'm happy to take dogs on good walks or to play with cats, am careful not to startle bunnies nor step on tortoises. I´ve been pet-sitting from a young age, but more intensively since 2020. Animals feel comfortable with me and I enjoy their company.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am patient and attentive with animals, and I am careful and respectful of peoples homes. I like to take candid pictures of animals, so home owners always receive a few fun pics with my updates. I am calm and clear minded when problems arise, will always do what is necessary and in the best interest of a pet and home. I value good communication. I speak English, Spanish and basic Swedish.
