About this sitter
We are a German couple, 29 and 32 years old, currently traveling with our small, social dachshund. Over the past few years, we've completed seven successful house sits in different parts of Europe – including countryside homes, city apartments, and even a large finca in Spain.
We’re ideally looking for peaceful, nature-oriented locations, preferably with a garden and maybe one or two animals to care for. We enjoy taking care of homes and animals as if they were our own and appreciate the opportunity to live in unique places while helping others feel at ease during their absence.

House sitting is the perfect combination of what we value: a grounded lifestyle, caring for animals, and living in authentic, personal spaces rather than tourist accommodations. It gives us the chance to experience different ways of life while offering real help to homeowners who need reliable, respectful sitters. We find deep joy in connecting with animals and taking care of a property in a meaningful way.

Yes. We've successfully completed seven house sits so far, caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and even rabbits. One of our most memorable sits was a large property in rural Spain where we looked after a finca with a big dog and a flock of chickens. We’ve also stayed in homes with sensitive or older animals and know how to adapt to each personality and routine.

Perfect match!
Since the first online meeting we had the feeling that Gloria & Erik are one of those perfect matches for our cats and the house sitting. Easy and honest communication and both are for sure animal loves. We had a really nice evening together before we left and totally trusted them when we've been away for holdiday. Great house sitters and a very sympathetic couple
Gloria and Erik were everything we were looking for in house sitters. Honest, respectful, willing to do anything, kind and super easy to get on with. They kept our house perfectly clean and tidy and lovingly took care of our cat. On top they even did some garden work that we didn’t manage to get done previously. As we changed our internet provider during their housesit, Erik installed our new WLAN and helped our tenant setting up his own. They regularly sent pictures of our cat and informed us about incoming mail. Gloria and Erik exceeded our all expectations in looking after everything and we would highly recommend them as housesitters. If Gloria and Erik would ever be able to come back for another housesit we would gladly welcome them back in our house – and our cat would be extremely happy!

Erik and Gloria are a very nice couple. They did a 5 weeks housesit in our house. They left our house tidy, clean and in a very good condition. They also kept our pool clean and it was easy to stay in contact with them. They cared very well for our rabbits and giant african snails. They are trustful persons and we hope to have them back here for an other housesit in the futur.

Conscientious and reliable
Gloria and Erik are a very friendly and conscientious young couple. They sent regular updates about my animals and kept on top of the garden and even planted some vegetables for me so I would have some tomatoes to come home to at the end of my trip! Also at my request they vetted my post, sending me photos of envelopes so I could ask them to open something if I felt it necessary. It meant I didnt have a giant stack.of mail to come home to, which I can tell you makes life a lot easier when leaving for a couple of months... They left my house even tidier then when they arrived, absolutely spotless. All my neighbours tell me they kept themselves to themselves and were very quiet in the neighbourhood. It was a joy having them as house sitters and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone to look after their house and pets! Thank you again Gloria and Erik ????????
