About this sitter

I'm Adriána, a medical doctor and psychotherapist-in-training from Hungary. I’ll be spending the summer in New York to improve my English and find inspiration for a future project supporting people affected by cancer. I'm calm, quiet, responsible, and enjoy peaceful environments. I’d love to stay somewhere that feels like home, where I can care for pets and experience local life in a more personal way.
In the near future, I hope to adopt my own dog and train it as a therapy animal, so I would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for your pet.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting gives me the chance to travel in a meaningful and respectful way. I prefer living like a local, not just visiting as a tourist. I also genuinely love animals and would enjoy the chance to care for someone’s beloved pet while they’re away. I see this as a great exchange – I offer peace of mind and care in return for a safe and quiet place to stay.

Their experience

While I haven't done official house sits before, I’ve looked after friends’ and family members’ homes and pets when they traveled. I grew up with dogs and have spent some time with my nieces’ cats too. I’m practical, tidy, and very respectful of others’ spaces. I’m new to platforms like this, but I’m confident in my ability to care for a home with great attention and reliability.

What can they bring to the assignment

You can expect responsibility, clear communication, and genuine care. I’m organized, non-smoking, and happy to follow any instructions you leave. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe and loved and that your home is just as you left it – or even better. I’m also happy to send updates and pictures so you can feel reassured while you're away.
