About this sitter

I'm a fun-loving artist, environmental steward (BA in Geography & Environmental Studies), and mom who loves making and keeping a "space" that feels welcome and cozy. I'd enjoy the opportunity to take care of your home while you are away. My son is now 19 (how did that happen!), loves his scooter, bike, and all of his music instruments, which include a piano, saxophone, guitar, and violin. Sometimes I may be available as a solo sitter, for shorter periods, other times I would want to bring my son along. He would also be able to help out with chores, outdoor work, etc. Our lives have recently changed and we're looking forward to travelling and experiencing new places and cultures. We love books, bikes, music, good food, and, of course, travelling.

Why they want to house sit

I'm looking for the opportunity to experience living in different locations around the world while beginning a new season in my life. Hopefully, a season full of exploration, wonder, joy, and adventure. I'm interested in where you live, what the culture is, the geography, and why you call it home. I actually grew up in the Air Force, travelling with my family frequently, even getting the opportunity to live in Germany! I believe that lifestyle planted an exploration bug in me, which is why I still love to travel and even majored in Geography.

Their experience

I've recently had the pleasure of house/pet sitting for 2 lovely parakeets and their home. I have stayed at many Airbnb's, earning high ratings for care and treatment of their spaces, and owned my own beautiful home, improving the interior design and creating an extensive garden with native plantings.
