About this sitter
Originally from Germany, I live in Tucson, AZ, where I work as a freelance translator. I’m single and genuinely enjoy caring for animals and plants. I’m very clean, organized, and attentive to detail—my friends jokingly call it “German-clean.”
I take responsibility seriously and am mindful about home security (doors, windows, systems). I work remotely, so reliable Wi-Fi and a quiet environment are important to me.

I’ve lived with animals most of my life. Growing up in Germany, we always had pets, and I’ve cared for dogs and cats for many years as an adult. Animals tend to feel comfortable with me, including shy cats once trust is established.
I’ve also cared for fish (including koi) and understand the importance of routine, cleanliness, and calm presence.
What can they bring to the assignment
I bring reliability, attentiveness, and a calm, respectful presence. I work remotely and am self-sufficient, organized, and mindful of routines. Most importantly, I treat homes and animals with care and responsibility, as if they were my own. I’m happiest in sits where expectations are clear and arrangements feel fair to both sides.

Great pet and house sitter!
Corinna was able to come pet and house sit for us on short notice, we were so grateful! She clearly loves animals, our dog took a quick liking to her, and they were off and away! She communicates well and frequently with pictures and a few stories -- this was important for me, as ours is a new stray dog and we weren't sure how he would take to the change! They had a great time, and all was well and in order when we got home. She took care of the things in the garden that needed tending (and I hear loves gardening!) so all looked well there too on return. The house was as we left it, with a few vases of flowers to enjoy for a bit longer after we got home. I left a three page list of information about the house and dog. She asked for that, was not daunted by it, and she clearly paid attention to all of it! Corinna is friendly and outgoing, attentive and was a treat to interact with. I can't actually imagine having anyone else.

Reliable, tidy, caring
Corinna was back here house/dog sitting a 3rd time. I feel very confident when arranging the sit that she is going to show up. She has always been reliable. She takes good care of the house, always leaving it clean. I feel very comfortable with leaving our dog (and the chickens) in her care.

Corinna did a great job taking care of our dog, chickens, and home. We came home and the house was cleaner than we left it! Everything was well cared for. She communicated well with us. Would definitely recommend her as a sitter. We will be using her again!
