Swedish senior teacher looking for a christmas/New year sitting

About this sitter

I´m a youthful, responsible teacher in my 50ies who are looking for a house to sit during Christmas/ NewYear-25.
A cat or a dog in UK, New York or Nice-area prefarably.

Looking for a place to discover at the same time as I can relax from daily life and responsibilities at home. In the company of a dog or cat would make it really nice! Could be in Europe or in US.

Why they want to house sit

Looking for a 1-2 weeks stay with a dog or cat to watch for.
Preferably so I can manage without a car, since I most probably will be flying to your place. I am though an experienced driver so in case there is a car available that could be a solution. A city, village or a bit outside is ok for me as long as I can transport myself.
I very much appreciate beautiful surroundings.

House, villa, apartment - I´m a flexible person. I'll of course take care of the plants and keep the house clean as well, when there.

Their experience

Experienced as a houseowner of my own - yes! As a housesitter - no.
From different cultures and contexts - yes! I lived in Spain in my youth and I have a worked in the export business for many years and travelled a lot both professionally and privately.

I´m a previous dog ( collie) and cat owner myself for many years, and miss it.. I was also doing horseriding for many years.

Nowadays I teach teenagers and well, being an honest, kind and open communicative teacher have made many of them liking me.

What can they bring to the assignment

I´m organised, responsible and clean. Will take care of pets and plants and the house (non-smoker of course).
Will travel single so will keep it peaceful and bring books and my computer as a company besides your pets ( a wifi would be needed at your place).
I´m also a calm problem-solver so I will handle and solve any situation that could occur.
