My Name is Sjoukje, it's a Dutch name based in parts of the family in combination with northern-west German parts. This year in March I got 65 with thanks!
I retired with 60 and moved to a little town named Steyr, Upper-Austria in 2022.
Steyr is one of the famous towns with a history of 1000 years. Old-fashioned buildings stayed.
The nature is so beautiful!
First thing I did, was my 40tons truck licence. In 2023 I started my job as tipper truck driver and had a lot of fun by learning this matter.
(In younger days I drove with my motorbike through nearly whole Europe including Hungary.)

In former times I studied, worked in the Foreign Departement of a bank, later in an export-company with relationships to Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Jordan, Greece, was riding and learning young horses, worked as a trainer and so on.

Why they want to house sit

....., because it is the best possibility to get in direct contact with people in a country, learning their way of life, to overtake heartfully responsibility by expressing respect and trust.

Their experience

I am experienced as I lived on a farm with 80 horses including foals, a lot of cats and a dog in my age betwen 12 and 18.
I know exactly what it means to overtake family-animals, which are loved by the humans or plants in house and garden and to stay for them.

What can they bring to the assignment

I can bring my life experience to the assignment as well as a well traineed body ;)))) for making necessary gardening and work.
