About this sitter
Hi I’m Lauren, Im currently based in Ireland. I teach pilates and yoga freelance, and I also love the company of animals, so enjoy pet sitting which I usually do a few times per year. I am looking currently for port sits from a couple of weeks to longer depending on the location. I’m well experienced with cats and dogs of all ages and needs.
Why they want to house sit
I have had my own pets and homes as well as looking after others. Due to travelling for longer periods out of the country, it’s not the right time for me to have an animal full time. I find house sitting works well for myself, and the home owner who feels secure knowing they have a grounded and responsible animal lover taking care of things at home whilst they are away.
Their experience
Yes. Cats and dogs mainly. I have nursed sick animals, delivered a litter of puppies, fostered puppies and coordinated rehoming, and had 6 dogs and 2 cats of my own.
I also have experience looking after smaller animals: rodents and fish; farm animals, horses. I’ve sat houses in Ireland, UK, India, Germany and volunteered with organisations in the States, Canada, Poland and India. I will be providing references shortly as this is a newly created account (my previous expired). You may also request references from me directly.

Very attentive and kind sitter
Lauren minded our dog Bailey while we were out of the country for 2 weeks. She was a great sitter; very kind to Bailey, reliable, and very easy to get on with. She looked after the house well and even helped the neighbours with some requests . The house was really tidy and clean when we returned home and bailey was happy when she was here. I have no hesitation in recommending Lauren - she's a lovely person. Bailey was very sad when she left.
