Non-smoker with no untoward habits who is orderly and attentive.
Happy with a nice house that needs looking after or various creatures. I have kept bees and beautiful gardens and ran my own horse ranch where I planted 2300 trees. I wish I understood exactly how many that actually was before started planting.
I can do most things a property might require including build a road with a tractor, bank it, crown it and make it smooth as a baby's bottom.
Especially enjoy calm, country setting with lovely ambiance. I am very attentive to security and can read most animals well enough to spot issues.. Organized and kind but not really cuddly. Your dog is likely to know hand singnals after time with me.
Horses are a plus and I would enjoy doing groundwork or riding. Love big dogs, saucy terriers, and michevious cats best. I prefer to take only one big dog on as some pull leads. I like long fast walks in forest or beach daily and like to do yoga outside.
I research & write. Currently writing a language and math based curriculum which dramatically impacts issues with ADD, ADHD, ASBERGERS, PTSD and various issues which impact learning. So I need quiet time to think.
I love organic gardening and was an inspector for California Certified Organic Farmers so I understand properties and farms. I also understand cattle somewhat and had a guard llama. Animals are usually very good with me but I prefer well mannered animals.
I would like parts of France, Italy and Ireland but, as it is a long trip, would almost never consider a short stay, unless the place was stunning, then I might be tempted. I love grand old places and anything stone.

Why they want to house sit

I have stayed all over England, Wales, France and Italy and want to be in places long enough to understand various areas. An opportunity to improve my French or Italian is welcome.
Finding a place to really love and retire to is attractive and housesitting may accomplish that.

It is also a good experience for me to get better acquainted with historical and cultural details in my writing by immersing somewhat.

Yes. I have managed my own and other properties. My background is military and we lived in and managed many properties. My ex-husband is in real estate and we managed many properties through that business.

I am very security oriented and would not have a visitor in the house without approval. I do not know many people outside the US and am generally very private.
