I love all manner of creatures, bees, gardens and never met a stone building I could not fall in love with. I have had large properties and planted 2300 trees of all types, including ten varieties of figs, one year on my ranch.

I can do most things a property might require including build a road with a tractor, bank it, crown it and make it smooth as a baby's bottom.

Especially enjoy calm, country setting with lovely ambiance. I am very attentive to security and can read most animals well enough to spot issues early. Organized, kind and highly likely to teach a horse an amusing trick and hand signals.

Horses are a plus and I would enjoy doing groundwork, basics or riding. They call people like me horse whisperers.

Love big dogs, saucy terriers, and michevious tabby cats best. I like long fast walks in forest or beach daily and enjoy yoga and tai chi outside.

I research & write and am an historian focused mostly 1900- early Post War.

Currently patenting heavily math embedded Intervention Education Process which dramatically impacts issues with ADD, ADHD, ASBERGERS, PTSD and various issues which impede learning. So, I need quiet time to think.

I love organic gardening and was an inspector for California Certified Organic Farmers so I understand both properties and farms. I also understand cattle somewhat and had a guard llama. Animals are usually very good with me. I can handle any horse, use no whips and they are all angels with me.

I especially like parts of France, Italy and Ireland &UK
Prefering 2-3 months so I can get to know an area. In an emergency I would try to cover a short sit.

We Americans are booted out after 90 days in EU.

I love grand old places and anything stone. I have repaired stone buildings in Italy and Wales and also some church statues. I would love to paint an angel in Venetian Plaster in a gorgeous old church and am a very good artist. I also paint silk with beautiful botanical pigments which are quite strinkng and unusual.

Why they want to house sit

learning about a place and the culture and improving my languages is much better than visits. I like lengthly countryside visits and very short city visits.

Finding a place to really love and eventually retire to is attractive and housesitting may accomplish that.

It is also a good experience for me to get better acquainted with historical and cultural details in my writing by immersion.

Yes. I am very experienced and built my first house at 22, managed my own and other properties. My background is military and we lived in many properties in the US, England and Germany. My ex-husband (a good friend) is in real estate and we managed many properties through that business.

My security awareness is high and I would not have a visitor in the house without owner approval. I am generally quiet and private but tell good stories, and keep everything in good shape.
