About this sitter

Hi! We are Cynthia (retired nurse) and Michael (retired educator) based in Boulder County, Colorado. With years of experience working with patients and students, we bring compassion, responsibility, and attention to detail to our role as a sitter. Now retired, we spend our days traveling (abroad and in our motorhome), studying languages, hiking, running and playing the ukulele!

Why they want to house sit

We enjoy being with animals and exploring new places. We have the flexibility to give pets the time and care they deserve. Pet sitting and housesitting gives us joy, companionship, and a chance to make new connections around the world, while creating a cozy, well-maintained environment for owners to travel or take a break.

We have done several pet/home sits for both cats and dogs and raised four children (now independent adults).

What can they bring to the assignment

We are very active with hiking and running. If your dog would like to join us in these activities, we'd love to include them! We simply adore cats and since we travel so much, we are not able to have our own.

We will provide cuddles and love to your pets and we will treat your home as if it were our own. Our motto is "leave a room neater than you found it."
