Franco/British Couple Non Smokers

About this sitter

We retired 5 years ago, I am British & an ex nurse & my French husband Max fitted kitchens & also ran a bar/brasserie for a few years. We are primary carers for his elderly mother & uncle who live next-door - we are looking for "time out /off" to relax & rest as well as discovering new areas /places in the world .

Why they want to house sit

For us its the flexibility & possibility to go somewhere at the last minute, but In all honestly, its also the financial saving as well as the flexibility that house sitting offers - paying for carers to replace us is costly & finding the right ones is complicated - House sitting combines our love of animals & travel - sadly we no longer have a dog , just 2 gorgeous moggies , its an enormous pleasure for us if we can " borrow" other people's for a while whilst we visit new areas.

Their experience

Yes- we have together or separately looked after dogs & cats but I also once took on a veritable "zoo" - inc donkeys, dozens of exotic birds, chickens & ducks , guinea pigs & a parrot who flew free in the house & had his own bedroom !

What can they bring to the assignment

Our love of animals & being ready for a challenge if necessary !
We are very responsable & house proud - we have always taken care of other people's properties as if they were our own . We are non smokers Any home owner can have complete confidence in us - if a problem arises we will do our utmost to handle it or find a solution but beyond that would not hesitate to contact them & then instigate their instructions. We have also managed a few pools & houses without being resident on site.
