Hi! My name is Teresa and I am a primary school teacher from New Zealand. This year I decided to take a break to see some of the world. I have been travelling since April 2025 and hope to see as much of Europe as I can.

Why they want to house sit

As I have been travelling, I tend to only stay in a city for 2-3 nights before moving on to another place. House sitting will provide the opportunity to get a better feel for the area as well as often make new furry friends.

Their experience

I am new to ‘mindmyhouse’ but I have lots of experience house and pet sitting for friends of family. I have been recommended to friends of friends multiple times. I have the most experience looking after cats; both my own and other people’s. I have only dogsat a few times but with no problems.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am a confident and responsible person who shows a lot of compassion for others. I follow instructions well and pay attention to detail. I have common sense and can logically problem solve. I am a fluent English speaker.
