About this sitter

Hello, my name is Raffaela and I am in my late 40s. Currently I am working online as a coach and writer. I am a very calm, quiet and responsible person. I don’t smoke, don’t drink and do not take any drugs - not even coffee ;-) I am an extremely clean and orderly person and will treat your home as if it was mine. As for your pet, you can be sure that I will give it the love, affection and care it needs and deserves. I have a repeating daily routine that can be easily adapted to the schedule your pet is used to. In my free time, I enjoy taking walks in the tranquility of nature. Phone calls or video calls to check in how your pet is doing are a given for me.

Why they want to house sit

I am planning to write a book within the next months and am looking for a change of environment to spark my creativity. But, the job as an creative can get a little lonely sometimes, so I decided to take care of other people‘s animals. That way, I can have both: change of environment and a furry/ feathery/ scaly companion whom I can give my affection and attention to while you are away from home.

Their experience

I was born and grew up in the countryside of Germany with lots of animals around me. In the past, I have adopted 2 streetdogs in China. I am used to shy and anxious animals and am very patient and respectful with their boundaries. Medical care is no problem either. I have also been doing holiday care for my friend’s furried companions. Now I want to extend my pet and house sitting services and combine it with travelling. But please note: as I am a very petite person a big dog would probably not be a good match for me.
