About this sitter
Hey y’all! I’m a former actress/stand-up comedian/writer that’s been traveling full-time since 2019. After my daughter was born I went through a bit of an identity crisis that led me to focus on my writing while traveling full-time to worldschoool my sweet angel. It is my goal to provide her a diverse education through varied life experiences & cultural immersion. Thank you for considering us to care for your ANIMAL FAMILY members, because I very much understand that’s what they are! And that you’d take them traveling with you if you could, but alas, logistics :) ***We are BOTH fully vaccinated (momma is boostered)!
Why they want to house sit
Animals are very healing for the soul :) House sitting also exposes us to lifestyles and parts of the world we may not have considered or had the opportunity to experience otherwise. We enjoy exploring different cultures and living like locals!

Wonderful housesitters
Brittany and her daughter were the most wonderful housesitters that I would welcome back again anytime! (I’m actually trying to line up their next job now for us 🤣!) Our house was spotless upon return and the dogs were so well looked after, they weren’t even fussed about us returning after 6 weeks. Brittany’s correspondence was perfect and it was lovely to see so many pictures of the dogs playing with her daughter in our garden. We have two small children ourselves who help with the dogs so it was lovely for the dogs to get so much love and care from Brittany’s daughter too.

Highly recommended
This was our first time and we were slightly concerned how it would work out. We shouldn’t have been worried – Brittany and her daughter Autumn are very experienced sitters and did a great job of looking after our house and dog, Zeb. They let us know their travel plans and arrived bang on time. While we were away Brittany kept us up to date including pics of Zeb. When we got home the house was immaculate with all bedding and towels freshly laundered. Highly recommended.

Welcome back again
Brittany and Autumn looked after our pets really well. They sent plenty of photos, and Elvis and Poppy looked really happy. Our house was lovely and tidy when we arrived back and it was obviously well cared for. We would be more than happy for Brittany and Autumn to house sit for us again.

Definitely recommended
We had a really good experience with Brittany and her daughter. Communication was prompt and easy and our pets were in a really good mood when we came back and we could see that they were well taken care of. They had a lot of walks and everyone got lots of cuddles. The house was clean and tidy so we would definitely recommend her.

Brittany was fantastic
Brittany was fantastic. She took amazing care of our dog Bruce. This was our first time using Trusted Housesitter, and our first time leaving Bruce for a long period, and we could not be happier with the care Brittany provided. She sent lots of pictures and videos, and in each one Bruce was clearly so happy. We had total peace of mind during our trip, something we know we would not have had if Bruce was being boarded out of our home. Brittany also left our house perfectly clean and tidy, which made coming home even more of a relief. We highly recommend Brittany and hope she can take care of Bruce again in the future!

Brittany went above and beyond
Brittany went above and beyond. Although we planned our vacation so we'd be home for the stressful fireworks season, celebrations started early and our dogs were an anxiety ridden mess for most of Brittany's stay. This was not an enjoyable sit for her in the least, but we were incredibly grateful for the graceful, professional way she handled a very frustrating situation.

Brittany is fantastic. My dog loved her. And when an unexpected situation occurred she was a calm and excellent communicator, and showed patience and flexibility, which was so appreciated. Brittany and her daughter were wonderful house sitters! She filled in after a cancellation at the last minute and we were so thankful to have her come through. She had great communication with us before and throughout the stay. When a storm scared my pup, she sat with her and provided comfort. She does this as a way of life, so she is truly experienced in all things house sitting. They left our house spotless and we would gladly have them stay for us again!

All the other wonderful reviews are totally correct!! Brittany and her amazing daughter are simply wonderful HouseSitters. It was a joy to have their energy about the place and our cat was SO happy, glossy and calm when we got home. Brittany left our home immaculate...and she even drove us to the airport. What a sweet, brilliant and competent person. (Her lovely daughter is beautifully-behaved and delightful—I missed them both when we said goodby.) What an interesting journey they are on, I'm glad they made a stop with us.

Third time
This is the third time Britt and Autumn have sat for us and, once again, they were wonderful. I really can’t say enough good things about them. Our animals are sooooo happy with them which makes being away so much easier. Gave Elsie lots of exercise and the cats lots of cuddles :) The house was spotless when we got home. We’d have them back again and again!
