About this sitter
I'm a 38 year old writer in need of some quiet. I love cats and horses (but I'll have to work up to taking care of bigger guys!) and I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking or simply sitting in a green area.
Other than reading and writing, I adore cooking and baking, dancing tango and philosophical conversations.
Why they want to house sit
It's been an intense few months with family and adulting, now I need some me time, silent cuddly companions a plus. I figure it's a perfect situation to give and get some love while doing someone a favour, win-win all around.
Their experience
I have looked after my sister's 3 cats, including giving them medication, while she was away.
What can they bring to the assignment
I'm a great problem solver with experience as a carer for my dad and mum, which means I'm great figuring out to how to fix anything that comes up. Caring for them also taught me to enjoy the quiet moments when everything is going well, which is an attitude I hope to bring to any houses I sit.
